Our Philosophy
Our Concept
We wanted to escape the city, its noise, its fast way of life, and its pollution.
We also wanted to give back to the Earth in whatever way we could. In 2008, we bought 3 acres of agricultural land in the village of Kondhan at Manor in Palghar district.
The house you see today was built in 2019. We sourced the material for the construction as locally as possible to ensure minimum environmental impact.
Meet the Team
Your Hosts
We are Keith and Melwyn, residents of Mumbai.
We have been sharing our wonderful world at Kondhan, in a little hamlet called Kondhan Wadi, with guests from around since 2015. We stumbled upon Kondhan in 2012 and have been, ever since, studying and discovering the natural, cultural and ancient wonders of this beautiful place.
Together with our family, we aim to promote cultural and eco-friendly nature holidays in Kondhan, which respects local traditions and customs. We, along with our team, look forward to meeting you soon at our stress-free zone.
Shankar & Sadhana, our local caretakers, keep the house and your rooms spic and span. They also cook all the yummy, local delicacies you’ll be eating while at the farm.
At the farm you will also meet Tazo, Coffee, and Kaya. They make sure your stay is completely safe. Don’t forget to tip them with head scratches, paw shakes, and tummy rubs for guarding you. They’ll also show you the way up the hill for an early morning hike.
